Experience 2 to 5 Years Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Designer and Developer with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in handling projects and leading teams. As a Senior WordPress Designer and Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing WordPress-based websites and applications while overseeing project execution and providing guidance to the team. Responsibilities: Design and develop custom WordPress themes, templates, and plugins, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance. Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project objectives. Lead and manage a team of designers and developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical support. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery within agreed-upon parameters. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in WordPress development. Technical Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 4 to 8 years of professional experience in WordPress design and development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. Strong proficiency in WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development and customization. Advanced knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL. Experience with responsive web design, mobile optimization techniques, and familiarity with popular frameworks like Bootstrap. Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and web standards. Proficiency in using version control systems like Git. Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, caching mechanisms, and SEO best practices for WordPress websites. Experience with integrating third-party APIs and services into WordPress. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
